Museum and landmark add-ons can now be chosen when booking, with an estimate of ticket costs, and some behind-the-scenes improvements were made.
About this site
Version history
This website is looked after personally, just like the tours. A short note whenever a new version goes live.
Guest reviews from more platforms were added to the front page, and the contact details were extended.
Search-engine work: the questions and answers and the photo strip on the front page are now readable without JavaScript, and duplicate web addresses point to a single version. Measurement was added so Jan can see which enquiries come from advertising.
The blog update. A new blog page collects a short write-up of each tour, starting with a morning tour for guests thinking about moving to the Netherlands. The photo gallery went live and was tightened up, and groundwork was laid for the Tailored Rijks Tour, which is being planned now.
Shorter, friendlier web addresses, faster loading, and behind-the-scenes work so search engines and messaging apps describe the site properly. The booking page now explains how booking works step by step.
Added a frequently asked questions section, answering the most common questions guests ask before booking.
Added this version history page, plus small refinements here and there.
The booking calendar now shows live availability, photos load noticeably faster (especially on your phone), and a Policies page was added.
First public release: the tour, guest reviews, the photo gallery and direct booking.
