Where we meet
We usually start at the Rijksmuseum or on Dam Square. Staying in the city? Meeting at your hotel lobby is fine too.
Add-ons
Optional. Each one adds an hour to the tour (+€50). Entry tickets are extra and paid to the museum, not to Jan.

Museum tickets · not part of Jan's fee
Tour €{{ total }} to Jan, plus about €{{ ticketTotal }} in tickets to the museums. Adult prices, checked September 2026; under-18s are free or cheaper at most of these venues. Jan has no special access to tickets: you can buy them yourself on the museum's website, or Jan can book them for you at the museum's own price.

Pick a day and a starting time above and send it through. You can also reach Jan by email or WhatsApp if you would rather just ask.
Jan confirms personally
Usually within a few hours. You get a confirmation with the meeting point: Dam Square, the Rijksmuseum, the Hart Museum on the Amstel, or your own hotel or apartment.
Pay on the day
€175 for the whole group, up to four guests, for three hours. Extra hours are €50, and museum or landmark add-ons are one extra hour each. Cash is preferred; bank transfer and Bitcoin also work. Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before.
Tours are given in English or Dutch, run in light rain as well as sun, and are suitable for children from about two years old. The full terms are on the booking & policies page.
